PTC Meeting Minutes, April 15th and Additional Announcements
At our meeting on Thursday, April 15th we approved the following funding requests:
~ Transportation for both Kindergarten classes to Wolf's Neck Farm
~ Chewonki presentation for both 2nd grade classes
We also discussed our annual wrapping paper fundraiser for next year. We will be using Genevieve's instead of Sally Foster, as Sally Foster has stopped their wrapping paper catalog operation.
In addition, we discussed the addition of a new fundraiser next spring which will be the sale of citrus. In anticipation of continued and larger funding needs in the upcoming years, we felt it was important to add this additional fundraiser.
Thank you to those who attended!!
The Woolwich Wellness Team is hosting a "Eat The Rainbow" week during the week of April 26 - April 30. They will be serving an afternoon snack to all students, each day, with a different color theme. (Monday = Red/ Pink, Tues = Orange, Wed = Green, Thurs = Blue/ Purple, Fri = Yellow) They are looking for volunteers to come and chop fruits and vegetables each day. They are also wearing clothing with that days color theme, in case you are interesting in wearing them too! Please go to our volunteer website - CLICK HERE TO GO - and volunteer!!
Michelle Rines has once again taken on the HUGE task of organizing the Book Swap in June. We need some volunteers for that event as well. She is looking for a volunteer to help her collect books from the bucket down near the library. We will also need volunteers for set up, working the swap and break down of the swap. Please go to our volunteer website - CLICK HERE TO GO - and volunteer!!
As always, thank you for all you do to support our students!!
